THE STORY BEHIND AURA[X]

"AURA" evokes the imagery of a protective halo, symbolizing both enlightenment and preservation. The addition of "X" is a nod to the protective tapes on racing Porsche 911s, reflecting a blend of aesthetics and practical safeguarding. Our name, AURA[X], embodies the fusion of spiritual and rational elements, encapsulating our commitment to combining beauty with functionality.

THE FOUNDER

Born in 1976 in Bisceglie, Italy, Andrea Di Buduo graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Car Design from IAAD in Turin. He began his career in 1998 at Bertone, eventually joining Ford of Europe in Germany, where he excelled as an exterior designer and later as a Manager. During his tenure, Andrea contributed significantly to several generations of key models, including the S-Max, Focus, Mondeo, and Ka, as well as concept vehicles such as the Iosis, Vertrek, and Evos.
In 2014, Andrea relocated to the United States to work at Ford’s headquarters, playing a pivotal role in the relaunch of the Lincoln brand, particularly with the MKX concept. Returning to Italy in 2016, he assumed the role of Design Director for a prominent Chinese car manufacturer. Recently embracing his passion for classic Porsche 911s, Andrea founded AURA[X], aiming to serve the Porsche community with modern, jewelry-like artifacts that leverage both new technologies and manual craftsmanship.
